    Hi Mike,
    Hope you’re doing well. My mother works for the Economic Development Department for the City of Wisconsin Rapids, and they are looking into the regulation requirements associated with opening a homeless shelter. Dan Robinson suggested that you would be an excellent resource for her department as they move forward in the process. Would you be interested in speaking with her? She has been asked to gather information by Thursday of this week to present. Let me know if you would be willing to give a City’s perspective in terms of these four areas:

    Distance from schools and/or daycare facilities;
    Staff training levels and requirements;
    What zoning districts the use would be permitted in;
    Requirements for background checks on residents and restrictions on the admittance of felons.
